That's been my new "default" unless I'm trying to do something wild and will set it to manual. On the zoom lens I have I don't have a ton of aperture range but it keeps it from trying to turn on the flash. The one I want is the Nikkor 18-200 VR. It's only $650, so I should just buy it, right? (Uh, yeah.) I'd just need to sell my 18-135 lens first. I like the Rich practicing shot with the smoke.
