The thing is, people tell you a lot about pregnancy, but they're really telling you about *their* pregnancy (I am included in that lot, btw). Everybody's is different, and I'm told that the same woman can have two totally different pregnancies. I'm sorry things have been rough for you. Being preggers is, in general, really cool and really a pain in the ass at the same time. Hang in there! (And tell Rich to hang in there too - dads-to-be really are saints for putting up with hormonal craziness. Ask Kevin.)

I want to apologize since I'm pretty sure I'm one of the ones who told your husband all systems would be gogoGO! in the second trimester.

I want to tell you to hang in there because it will change and get better which is cliched and probably not terribly comforting, but also true. I don't want to offer up anymore potential lies :) - but I can tell you that for me, sex got a lot better after I had my kids. I ended up with a certain awe and respect for what my body can do which translated into a new level of enjoyment in sex (which I already enjoyed. It just became extra fun.)

I also want to tell you this is a beautiful, real life love letter. Those last two sentences? That's what it's all about.
